April Mulcahy
Ecological Designer, ISA Certified Arborist®
April is an ecological designer and arborist with a background in horticulture, urban forestry, and wetland science. She uses her extensive knowledge of plants and natural systems to develop vegetation management plans, planting designs, and environmental restoration plans. As an arborist, she has inventoried and assessed the health of trees for public and private clients around the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining DCG/Watershed, April spent five years working for the US Forest Service as a forest health researcher.
Outside of DCG/Watershed
When not at work, April can be found investigating wetlands and admiring trees for pleasure. She enjoys botanizing, kayaking, camping, and spending time with her kid. April is an active member of both the Washington Native Plant Society and the Northwest Horticultural Society.
